**Rear Camera:**

Designed to be mounted on the inside of the vehicle's rear window, this camera features a 160° wide-angle lens that captures all footage behind the vehicle in 1080p Full HD, enhancing your parking mode capabilities.

**High-Temperature Protection System:**

The dash cam includes a high-temperature protection system that prevents overheating, which could lead to irreversible damage. The specially designed construction and built-in thermal sensor automatically turn off the device to prevent overheating. All Thinkware cameras utilize a Super Capacitor for emergency power following a crash or sudden power loss, allowing the unit to save the last 10 seconds of an incident.

**Format Free Technology:**

Avoid corrupt memory cards and the tedious process of frequently reformatting your SD cards with our format-free recording system. Traditional dash cam SD cards continuously overwrite data and often become corrupted without regular formatting. Thinkware has addressed this issue by pre-allocating memory, eliminating the need for constant reformatting and ensuring footage is easily viewable using our Thinkware viewer software.

**Smart Parking Mode:**

In high-temperature situations, the dash cam switches to Low Power Mode. Once the temperature stabilizes, it automatically reverts to the existing recording mode.

**Multiple Recording Modes:**

- **Continuous Recording Mode:** Automatically activates when the engine starts, saving recorded videos in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.

- **Incident Recording Mode:** The Active Impact Monitoring System automatically saves video data ten seconds before and after a collision detected by the 3-axis G-Sensor.

- **Manual Recording Mode:** Similar to a video camera, this mode allows you to manually capture events occurring in front of your vehicle, regardless of whether it is in motion.

- **Fail-Safe Recording:** If power is lost after an accident, the fail-safe recording feature uses the Super Capacitor for backup power, ensuring safe storage of any ongoing recordings.

**High Dynamic Range:**

Experience enhanced contrast and clarity in your recordings, whether at dusk or dawn, thanks to the U1000 PLUS’s HDR technology. The Digital Overlap High Dynamic Range (DOL HDR) and Noise Reduction Technology minimize noise and lens flare effects that can impact nighttime footage.

**GPS Mapping:**

Thinkware dash cams accurately record vehicle speed and provide precise location and route tracking on a map. The GPS tracker enables you to assess details of the surrounding area, and the PC/Mac viewer helps analyze vehicle speed, collision timings, and impact severity.
